I have recently completed a Grad Cert in Experimental Archaeology and Material Culture at UCD. My background is quite varied and goes from I.T. skills through to graphics arts. Since 2020 I have been pursuing my lifetime interests in Archaeology. For the Grad Cert my project was the creation of replicas of the Burton Agnes, Folkton and Lavant Neolithic Chalk Drums and looking into the theory that they may have been skeuomorphs of measuring devices used as aids in the construction of places like Stonehenge. I also discussed other possibilities for them in that project.
Currently I am working on developing/standarding the way heritage building reconstructions are documented from their construction through their maintenance and finally end-of-life.
