Bio

Former archaeologist in the private sector with several years of experience working in the UK and Ireland with a Masters Degree in Medieval Archaeology, History and Experimental Archaeology at the University of Lund.

Today I am a part-time independent researcher studying mainly the Viking and Medieval eras of County Dalarna, Sweden.
I am also a craftsman and reenactor focusing on Viking and Scandinavian medieval carpentry and wood constructions and a member of the reenactment group Gunnes Felag, connected to the Open-Air museum Gunnes Gård i Upplands-Väsby outside Stockholm in Sweden.

Current projects involves the maintenance of a reconstructed 900th century pit house (grophus) at Gunnes Gård.
