Call-Out to Artists: ‘In Search of Ghosts’

Curated by Isabel Young, ‘In Search of Ghosts’ is inviting submissions for an interdisciplinary exhibition part of the Fringe Arts Bath 2025, May 23-June 7 2025. 

The exhibition is focused on ways that ideas in the present have come from past contexts, journeying immense tracts of time to discover how people have lived differently throughout history. The piece will explore contemporary art and archaeology through ancient rituals, artefacts, and lifeways of the past, as well as exploring the future of archaeology waste. 

The multimedia exhibition will be created through diverse perspectives from participants in art, design, archaeology, anthropology, geography, speculative fiction, heritage, and history.
