Registration for EAC14

On-site participation

It is no longer possible to pay registration fees online. If you would like to attend the conference in person and have not paid online, you will need to pay your registration fees (see attachment at the bottom of this page for fee categories) in cash on the first day during registration.

Registration will be taking place between 8:00 - 9:00 am at the conference venue (Rua Bom Jesus, 650. Campus Juvevê. Universidade Federal do Paraná). There, you will also be able to sign up for available spots on the excursions, and workshops.

Online participation

Online participation is free and open to everyone!

Thanks to the diligence of our speakers, and the hard work of our volunteer team, the majority of the talks from the conference have been pre-recorded and will therefore be available to stream through the EXARC YouTube Channel, and will also remain online after the conference is finished. We are planning to stream those talks that have not been recorded live on the day, but are still confirming the exact possibilities with the team on the ground at the Federal University of Paraná in Curitiba. 

The virtual platform for the conference will be our community Discord server, which you can join for free in advance of the conference through this link: https://discord.gg/tGnprceVqy 

Once you have signed up to the server, you will be able to introduce yourself, and will see the full range of channels that are used by both EXARC members and those outside the network who are interested in experimental archaeology, open-air museums, ancient technology, and interpretation. 

We hope that many of our online speakers will also be present to answer questions, and that the platform will allow discussion amongst participants. There will be a dedicated channel for the conference, and we have a wonderful team of volunteer moderators who will be there to guide you through the sessions.
